Your 3 days hiking from Imlil valley to Ourika valley in the heart of the Great Atlas departing from Marrakech is an opportunity to discover the unique landscapes of the Moroccan mountains and extraordinary lifestyle of the Berbers in their beautiful traditional villages.

After a pick up from your accommodation in Marrakech, you will walk along Asni valley toward Imlil village (1740m) where you will meet your guide for a unique experience that will begin with Tizi 'n' Tamaterte at an altitude of 2272m passing through the wheat fields and orchards of walnuts, apple trees and cherry trees, before reaching Tamaterte village. Then you will take a path through the village and the pine and juniper woods to the top of Tizi, where you can enjoy the magnificent panoramic views of the two valleys of Imlil and Imnan and the villages nestled on the mountainside. You will also have the opportunity to see the famous peak of Oukaimeden perched at an altitude of 3268m. Then you will cross the villages of Ouaneskra and Amghedoul (2130 m altitude) to take part of well-deserved break and enjoy a picnic on the plateau. In the afternoon, you will head to Tachdirt (2291 m altitude), the oldest village in the massif of Toubkal, surrounded by agricultural terraces. You will spend night in a Berber adobe house to specially discover the authentic lifestyle of Berbers by walking through the trails of this traditional village and assisting to dinner and traditional bread preparation.

During the 2nd day, you will benefit from 7 hours hiking towards the southeast to the village of Timichi overlooking the Ourika Valley at 1860m of altitude. You will have, on the one hand, a stunning view of Jbel Aksouâl (3842m of alltitude) and a wonderful panoramic landscape on Bou Iguenouane (3882m), Angour (3616m) and Tizi n'Tachddirt (3200m) on the other hand with the green valley that lies under your feet. Then, continue north-east to the Berber village of Laabassene (2030m), where you will stop for a picnic near water sources. In the afternoon, you will reach the peak of the ridge and will go down the valley to the antique village of Timichi which is surrounded by old walnut trees. You will spend the night at a cozy Berber family in a traditional house.

After breakfast, you will enjoy a 5 to 6 hours hiking to the east through fields of corn and orange groves, interspersed with streams that descend from the heights to Ourika Valley. You will cross the villages of Isghouarne and Agadir n'Aït Boulmane to reach the heart of the valley and finally arrive at the village of Setti Fadma, an old Berber village surrounded by waterfalls and hazel trees.
